Still no laptop . . . . and now no Teeth!

We still have no computer at home, Mom thinks its funny because my Dad is an IT guy (I call him Dad now and it makes me really happy) I don’t get why mom thinks that’s so funny though.

Anyway  . . . . We’ve had to figure out how to get things to work on moms tablet but now that we have  Bluetooth keyboard its a lot easier to type for Mom and I’m even learning how, its not so hard.

the big news is I had dental surgery. I had a third set of teeth, so the Dentist had to take some out and now I have no teeth in the front. 6 teeth came out. It makes it hard to try chips but I’ve had a bag since they came out. Just one for now, Mom said in the new year we are going to get back to blogging and I’ll be able to try the rest of my stuff.

These ones came from Japan too . . . They had a chicken wing on the front so I thought they would be spicy because that’s what kind Mom always has. But they weren’t spicy at all, they tasted king of like BBQ sauce but  little sweeter than what we have on meat. I liked them, they weren’t my most favorite but I’d have them again.

I’m going to go and play with some of my new Christmas stuff,  I’ll write about that too cause Mom and Dad got me a really bow for hunting (but I’m not old enough yet so only for practicing right now)

I hope you had a great Christmas!

Special days and Special Guest Tester

We have had some technical difficulties here. Our household laptop has died. It gave us many good years, but its time has come.
Mom and Jason have been working really hard and I’ve been doing a lot of playing, ship testing and started back to school – so we are trying to write my Blog on a tablet. It’s actually kind of fun, it can do 2 things on the screen at once (Split screen on a Window Surface) I like it a lot.

First special thing . . . Tinkertown. If you don’t have a place like tinkertown that’s really  sad. It. Is. AWESOME. Mom took me and Nixon one afternoon with Shanna (Moms cousin but my Shanny)

They have all kinds of rides and a some games. I liked the spider red, it spins and squishes you into people, Mom made the Tilt  A Whirl go really fast. I didn’t like the pirate ship still but mom and Nixon liked it a lot. The Ferris Wheel scared mom a lot but she still went on it. My buddy slept over and we tried a LOT of chips. Mom took videos but we can’t get them up on here just yet, Jason can figure it out I think so those are coming soon. Right now I’m going to tell you about what we tried.

First we tried more from the USA,  Deep Fried Dill Pickle. Larry The Cable Guy makes them and the chili cheese fry ones from before. I LOVE dill pickle chips but these tasted different from pickles kind of. Not as sour. Nixon said they were the best dill pickle chips he had, mom said that too but mom doesn’t

even like dill pickle chips.Next we tried Kansas City Steak. SO SALTY! I didn’t like hem at first but then they started to taste really nice, and then I wanted more of them. But I still think they were too salty. Nixon liked these a lot too – and he’s a vegetarian!  We tried a whole lot but mostly have videos of them, the last I’ll write about tonight were from Italy. They are Mediterranean flavor, they had a tomatoes and basil on he front so I was excited to try them. All they tasted like was potatoes. I was disappointed but Nixon really liked them a lot, he likes the potato flavor.

I’m going to write about more soon but I want to be able to show the videos too. Mom said she will do her best to fix that or to at least get more pictures on my blog (she takes a LOT of pictures)

Thanks for reading and see you soon!

Holy Smokes!

Look at all these chips I get to try!

20160821_101207

I can’t believe it . . . that’s a LOT of chips! Some of them are pretty interesting looking.

I tried some that came from China. A super nice lady came to our house and dropped them off in person . . . all the way from China!

Lime, Cucumber, Mexican Tomato Chicken, Numb& Spicy Hot Pot (Im a little nervous about this one) and 2 more that we aren’t really sure what they are supposed to taste like so its going to be a surprise.

I tried the Mexican Tomato Chicken with the nice lady that dropped them off. I really liked them, they don’t taste like chicken though. They tasted like my vegetable soup. Mom and the nice lady agreed and said it tasted like minestrone soup ( I guess that must taste like my vegetable soup) i would for sure get these again.

I have a friend over tonight so maybe we’ll try another one and get a guest tester. I’m so excited!!  I’m going to have another guest tester from my Beaver Scout troop soon I hope.

Have a good night everyone!

Back On Track, first stop Germany

I’ve been keeping busy the last few weeks with collecting chips and shopping for my gift boxes to send around the world. Mom put that on hold because we may have a postal strike, but she says it should be ok now to send stuff. I’m excited for that, I think it’s pretty awesome that you can take a box to the post office and then it will go to a whole different country. That’s pretty exciting I think. I wonder how long it would take me to go to these different places . . .  I looked at my map and I’d have to fly to most of them, or take a boat. I would rather take a boat.  I’ve been going on all kinds of adventures, picking strawberries, going to Zoo camp and I’m even training for a 5Km walk with Mom and her friends (Im going to get a medal when i finish!)

Anyway, I have been given more chips! Can you believe it . . . I didn’t know people were so nice and liked my Tato experiment so much – It makes me really happy to know people like it.

I’d been given chips from Germany, Mexico, Poland, Italy and some more from different USA States. I even have some coming from the UK  – I even got some Hotdog flavoured pringles

Ill be trying some more soon and writing about them . . . the first ones I tried though 20160707_190656were from Germany, Miss Bertha from Mom’s wor20160707_190749k brought them for me. They look really cool, I like the bag but wow are they spicy! They taste just like black pepper, Jason really liked them a lot, they sure
weren’t my favourite though.  I don’t really like spicy stuff but I do like how crunchy they were.

We tried them out while we played Monopoly . . . . I think I won, Mom says I didn’t but I think she counted wrong.

Im super excited to be back with my Tayto chip tour . . . I even have a binder ready to keep all the bags and notes that I get. Pretty soon the Map from Auntie Jana will be flat enough that I can put it on the wall . . . . I still have to wash my wall first 😦

Thanks for reading about my Germany chips!

Next stop . . . Japan!

It’s been a very busy month for us. Mom and Jason made me concentrate on beaver Scouts, Soccer and school so my Tayto Chip tour had to go on hold for a bit. I’m done soccer and beaver Scouts until September and just in time . . . .

Holy smokes look at this awesome parcel I got! All the way from Japan . . . even the postage stickers on it is so cool. I’m going to keep things in a big scrap book I’ve decided and this is my very first delivery in the mail. I’m so excited!! I found Japan on my map (mom still hasn’t put it up on my wall so we don’t have a picture of that yet)

I even got a letter from the nice lady, Anna, who sent me the package. I’m going to send 20160615_173406_resized_1her some stuff from Canada to try but not to Japan,  she lives in the Netherlands . . . this is so cool! She sent me a letter to explain what different kinds of chips and treats are in the parcel, I’m going to try two at a time so right now I tried the Taco and the Pizza.

Look how cool the bags are? They are really colourful and fun looking. Don’t you think?
ok, first Im trying the pizza ones and they are AMAZING! T20160620_191221_resizedhey taste exactly like pizza pops I think (mom agrees, she says they taste just like the dough and sauce) so far of all the chips i’ve
tasted these are for sure my favourite. I had to save some because I didn’t want to eat them all . . . they are SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!

After the pizza the Taco flavour, these were ok, but they didn’t taste like tacos to me. I remember what mom said before that maybe the tacos that I have aren’t the same kinds of tacos in other countries . . . but its really neat to see how they taste different. I think maybe i just was too excited about the Pizza ones. Mom tried these and said they remind her of a Ketchup chip but a little spicier. She might be right.

I can’t wait to travel back to Japan in a little while, but I have lots of places to go yet 🙂

Guiness and Haggis . . Meal of Kings

Guinness-Beef-Chilli-Crisps-crop

Today we tried the Guiness Rich Beef Chili chips. I didn’t think they were as tasty as the chili cheese fires but i liked something about them. They tasted different in a good way, I can’t figure out what they tasted like, but they tasted like something I’ve had before. Mom thinks it’s her Guinny stew . . . I don’t think shes right.

20160517_174933I tried the Haggis chips before . . . I liked these ones, Mom said a lot of people at her work tried them and thought they’d be bad but were surprised. I dont think they are bad at all. They taste kind of like pepper but not really spicy pepper like when Jason puts too much of it in soup . . . something not so hot. I would have them again, but not all the time. I might try real Haggis if it tastes like this, Mom says it’s not so bad, we will just add some extra pepper.

Mom went to the Forks Market to pick these up at a really cool store on the second floor called Unique Ireland. I’ve been in there and I think it is super cool . . . the man who owns it has all kinds of things from Ireland and lots of Dr. Who stuff,

its awesome. He has lots of candy’s and chips and even drinks from Ireland and Scotland and Wales there. Some really cool toy cars and clothes too. If you go to the Forks Market you should go see him. I’m going to go back soon with Mom and get some more Prawn Cocktail chips, she really likes those and my mom is the awesomest (Yes, Jack really said that 🙂  )

Made In Canada . . . . Chili Cheese Fries?

I’m really excited to be getting some new penpals in Alabama. Mom has a friend there who has 2 kids that are about as old as me and we are going to send some Canada treats to them and they are sending me some American treats. I think that’s really awesome, everyone needs nice friends that will share fun experiments.

I spent a lot of days shopping for just the right treats and I’m finally finished. Mom is going to send the big box special delivery and I am going to put in a postcard from Winnipeg. I found cool ones that are just of Winnipeg stuff so I thought that was awesome.

AND . . . my Aunty Jana found me a map for my wall! A whole world map, I can write on it and erase things from it, so I can put that up soon with Jason (But mom said I have to wash the walls first 😦 )

I’m going to talk about the most awesome chips so far . . . . Chili Cheese Fries!!

20160525_085053

These are so AWESOME! They are for sure my favorite so far . . . . I ate almost the whole bag. Even Jason said they were good and he doesnt really like chips unless its Dill Pickle.  Mom said they really did taste like chili cheese fries and she’s right. Two thumbs up Larry the Cable Guy . . . Awesome chips! (Thank you Calista for getting these for me)

I tried another kind too. Southern Biscuits and Gravy. They are ok. Not my favourite, I biscuitsdon’t really think they taste like biscuits or gravy, but a little bit like pepper. Mom said they did taste like Southern Gravy to her and I just haven’t had that kind of gravy before. I Like poutine gravy, Mom said not everyone eats poutine gravy . . . that isn’t fair I think, everyone should get to have poutine gravy. I’m going to find some poutine chips and see if they taste right. So these ones were ok, but I’d rather have the Chili Cheese Fries.

I’ll be back soon to add more flavors . . . next up is Guinness.
